What are the baseline settings for a MS TSX 869 carburetor on a D15 SII? 1.5 idle and 2 for main jet?
Also, has anyone run one with the larger D17 venturi? Any difference in performance or basline carburetor settings? Thanks! |

D-17 Marvel Schebler carb has a 7/8" venturi. The last D-15 S2 I had apart had the same 7/8" venturi. Main jet adjustment...wide open throttle with a warm engine. Turn in L-screw until engine just begins to falter. Back out 1 full turn. If it stumbles on acceleration, give it another 1/4 turn at a time until it doesn't stumble any more.
