That reminds me of a Red/Green episode where he is using a mitre saw. Red looks directly at the camera and says, "Be sure to count your fingers before and after each cut, so you know if you should be sifting through the sawdust." I, of course, winced when he said that.

If I remember right, they were asking $150 a slab. I am not real sure on that, though.
It seemed like enough to me at the time.

I come up with 1399.06 not subtracting for the bolt holes, the small turn on the OD, or the shallow C'bore. So my guess would be 1350lbs. Now all you need to do is weigh them and tell us who wins the prize. LOL Charlie

Mike I think they wiegh closer to 1500 we had two sets come in on 8070 and a 220 and they sure could bendthe end of the forks could be wrong though Niel

If my calculations are right, they should weigh about 1250 lbs. I don't think I've ever seen any that big.

I bought a pair of weights at the salvage yard this past fall that came off of a 7040. I intend to install them on my Two Twenty, but I am curious what they might weigh. I suppose I could haul one to the Co-op and weigh it and my pickup together, but maybe some of you guys have experience with them. They are as stated from a 7040, they are 8 1/2 inches thick, with an outside diameter of 31 inches, and a center hole for clearance on axle about 12 1/2 inches in diameter. They are very substantial chunks of iron!
They also had some of the 450 pounders there, but these were in my price range. It is going to be a challenge getting them mounted. This is the only photo I have at the moment.
