Well more fun with the old girl, was working it pretty hard, loading heaped buckets full excavating for basement and reverse slowed to a crawl then would quit if the tractor had any angle(as with a loaded bucket) nosed down, steering would fall away in reverse(lo and hi) indicating fluid pressure was leaving/leaking away, forward is just fine for now.
Pretty certain I have lost the collector seals on this one as I had the other trans, probably too long dry and immobile, will be pulling the old unit apart soon enough to see if repairable and struggle along with this one for awhile. Have a contractor going to come finish the dig should it dry out enough Monday after noon. Foundation to start as soon as hole is set.

Well let it set a full day to let the anger wear down a bit, got back in the seat and WOOHOO today it pulled like meant to, for an hour and a half no issues. Got toward dark so shut it all down and will start again in the morning. Hope to get some pics of the extent of progress, currently just getting into broken rock(hilltop) at 16" from expected cut grade yet only at the half way point of the hole, house may need to stick out of the ground a little bit higher.
I am suspecting the oil heated up on me, will try not to run it so hard so long as I can.

As of this video, it is short, I am dealing with slimy conditions due to rain on Saturday and I have made it down to hardpan with mixed rock chunks.

Thanks Mac, I need to get the radiator out of the old girl, was a dirt/oil/exhaust soot laden mess when I bought the machine as the valve cover was cracked and the stack was completely gone under hood. I managed to get it pressure washed to where it takes more time to heat up but still not good.

It does have a AR turbo, I really enjoy when the old machine works well with that singing away.
Dug the entire basement hole(40x70x6'6")(12x21x2m)on 50 gallon fuel. Do still have a torque converter leak, more mess than anything so still need to set up to pull the engine up and get it out while doing so get my radiator cleaned in and out. Get the right final sprocket/seal changed and replacement rails on then a few odds/ends and she will get fresh paint, probably next year to finish it out.

we had a bucket like that on a hd6g one time dad took it off and put on a regular bucket it was heavy as heck I still had that bucket up until a few years ago when the timber company clearcut the neibors property and soon after that the bucket was gone along with a set of warn out tracks so I figured they went across a scale someplace

That's a Ulrich MP or 4/1 bucket, and yes heavy as all get out with little room for materials. I have a GP bucket off the donor but it needs a full overhaul to make it functional.
