Shirley and I left MN on the 12th of Jan, since then I have delivered a tractor to Jerry in Iowa, then a stop at Dave Maddux in MO, then went to Kansas and spend a day with Calvin and Pam, the next stop was Fulton MO and visited with JW Vann and his family, Wife, Howard and His wife and Justin. Next stop was Effingham Il and met with Steve M to deliver a pair of UC wheels and tires that he had purchased some 4-5 years ago ( that a story in itself ). Called Butch in Ohio and he was busy so we didn't conect, maybe next time. Then on to Hanover PA and spend a couple of days with Fred and Linda, also had a nice visit with Uncle Bill. then on to visit relatives near Hamburg PA for a few days and then to NJ to deliver a Model T body and tractor to Steve in NJ.  We are currently in Owego NY and going to pick up a chair lift for a friend at home and off to Hanover PA spend the night with Fred and Linda and load an A block and some parts headed for the midwest and a 20-35 at McGrews and then head west towards MN.  It has been great so far, We have really enjoyed visiting with forum members and folks we have met at tractor shows.  without this forum this trip would have been quite uneventful, thanks Darrin. I will sign off now and I am sure some of the people I mentioned above will have some comments.  Darrell

Do not worry Darrell, Fred and I know where he lives. Fred can take Uncle Bill with him on the "collection" trip if he gets more than 60 days overdue!

Update; I made it back to Fred's and Ed met me in Owego NY and visited for a while and I brought some parts to Fred for our friend across the pond, Dave Everett.  I left Fred's this AM and loaded a 20-35 at McGrew's and headed for MN.  Tonight Shirley and I are in Toledo OH and plan on getting into Wis tomorrow.

I'd like to see the collection fee on that one! Me thinks it might be cheaper to just let it go! LOL

Well as of last evening we made it home, it was fun but it's nice to be home.  We traveled 4192 miles and met with a great number of Allis folks.  Today we will try and unload the 20-35 that followed me home.  its cold here this am 4 degres

Big D,
Glad to hear you and Shirley made it home safely. Man, back to the single digit temp state again. You guys should've stayed out here where it was 4-tee degrees not 4 degrees.  lol!
Phil, Same kinda body, but bought this one off of e-bay bout' 150 miles from Darrell. The Big D was gracious enough to take a ride and pick it up for me. She's a beauty!!  A smidge of rust near the rear fenderwell area's, but not bad for an 80+ year old body.  The rest of the body is perfect! That's my next Street Rod project in a few years. I start collecting parts ahead of time....

I can vouch that a meal at Dave and Heather's hits the spot after a day of tractoring!

I'm glad to see that Fred and Uncle Bill are getting their ducks in a row to go straighten things out over across the pond!
