One of our 6080s developed a new "quirk" recently.  It now has the tendency to have the lift arms drift down while it is shutoff.  What could the cause be?  They return to there proper position shortly after start-up.

If there is no external leak then there is an internal oil leak. The 6080's 3pt system is a one way cylinder that sends oil until it is at the correct height. It would be the same as if the arms were all of the way down and prior to starting the engine you moved the leaver into the raised position, as soon as the engine turned over the first place oil would go is to raise the arms to the position indicated by the leaver.
