What exactly is gleaner metal.
Its it galvanized?
Its not bare metal, clear coated, right?
Its not a specific paint, is it?

Might want to paint my tractor like a combine, but not sure how to go about it.

Are you talking about the galvanized gleaners or the painted ones ?  Gleaners have been painted since 1998.

I didn't know they were painted. So like the Rseries are painted?
I guess either. I know the old style, like L's and M's where like a bare metal, but wasn't really a bare metal.
What is that, galvanized??

I'll have to research the painted ones some.

The R series were galvanized through 1997. I was told it was getting harder and harder to get a consistent galvanizing. So in 1998 The R series was painted for a more consistent look. I am glad they did. That way a 10 year old combine isnt 5 different colors.

I think it's called Gleaner Corp Silver. I would like to paint some wheels that color. It is hard to look at it in bright sun.
