| Yes hard rods are a must when you have them turning like that . I am only running 3500 rpms and I have hard rods and a few other little extra hardened bored and stretched shrunk and welded together things. |

Bob I have some Agco sheetmetal if they make you put that on. I have the Acgo Allis hood that had a cummins motor under it.

Thats great !!!! They gripe over here in the brushpullers if you dont have the right sheetmetal with the right motor. Because its orange...lol So I put an Agco hood on my 7040 that should cover all of the engine choices.
