bring your pocketbook,  from the local responses and knowledge of AC resales in this area, I strongly suspect "no bargains".

Hey guys I was planning on heading out there tomorrow very early since its a ride for me . I was interested in a plow for my 45 but do you think it's worth going ?

Posted By: Russ SCPA
Date Posted: 17 Aug 2012 at 3:18pm
Yes,  just expect that it will be a longish sale, and prices will be "fair".   Entirely to much stuff for a quick sale, and enough of similar items that there should be some decent prices.  Do not expect to pay "scrap prices" though.

Okay how long you think? Do it's worth going?

Worth going? YES!!!!!!!!!!   How long? Not sure what order they are selling in. Lot of shop items and concrete business items.

Did anyone happen to see what the savage 99's brought? Thanks, Bill

Posted By: StewartMD

Almost all of the stuff there was in need of work.  I know 2 tractors went to the scrap man.  The first tractor sold was the 720, and when I saw the owner and a girl running it up on the only other guy bidding, my mood quickly turned sour.  If he wanted a certain price he should have set a reserve on it.

We only came home with a heavy log chain, 2 buckets of clevises/chain hooks, and a set of front wheel weights for a WD, 45, D-17, etc.
