I'm thinking about getting rid of the generator cut out and converting to a regulator Staying 6 volt and redoing all the wiring as it's pretty ratty anyway. Don't care much for that light switch voltage control either. Any thoughts?

That's a nice upgrade, and done correctly, should work quite well. If interested, I have a VR panel that mounts in the tool box that we sell if you want to hide the VR. OR, you can "piggyback" it on the Generator. We also offer a wiring system to work with our panel, or with the VR mounted to the Gennie.  Drop us a line if interested....

If it's any thing like his fuel lines, it'll be great.
