It probably has a bad arm in it. 10 outta' 10 starter motors that come in my shop have tired or shot 60+ year old arms in em'. That's where you loose all the power and torque in the unit. A new rewound arm and new parts, and yer' good ta' go..

Those are some really interesting numbers from a guy trying to sell new parts!!!  I wonder what 10 out of 10 generators coming into your shop have wrong with them?
