Know a fella that had a small Oliver crawler given to him, that someone put an A-C engine into. Have not seen it but he needs to buys some parts and needs help id'ing this four cylinder so he can get it running.
Numbers he supplieed off of block are as follows:
AM-2-97613
Any help on info is appreciated.

That # looks like a casting #. Look on the flange where the bell housing attaches at about 11 o'clock when sitting on the seat.
A picture would help.
Ball park of age, and horse power, would also help.

If the overall length of the cylinder head gasket is approximately 21 inches long, look behind the carburator and find the serial number of the engine stamped on the block. It will be "W"-xxxxx or "45"-xxxxx or "17"-xxxxx. If it is noticeably shorter than 21 inches, it is then a 125-138-149 or 160 cube engine.

Thanks Doc; that'll help nail it down and I will try and get out to view this as I am now curious as to what someone put in her.
His description of it being such a small crawler makes me think they put a B, C, CA motor in it as he advised the crawler appears to be complete otherwise.
