I now have an Allis G 1949.  It is going to need work on the engine and I need the serial number.

Problem is the part of the number has been groung off (may because of repair to differential bolt hole repairs). I can read the first and last part of it (A N62 ****37)
Is there a way to ID the engine or get the number to show up like on CSI when the do it to gun serial number that have been filed off?

Call Jerry at Monte's Equipment. He can tell you everything you need to know about your N62 engine and will have the partas in stock. Some of the old model # designators don't matter anymore, as parts will fit both #'s. 312-225-2660 Bob
