I now have an Allis G 1949. It is going to need work on the engine and I need the serial number.
Problem is the part of the number has been groung off (may because of repair to differential bolt hole repairs). I can read the first and last part of it (A N62 ****37)
Is there a way to ID the engine or get the number to show up like on CSI when the do it to gun serial number that have been filed off?

| Call Jerry at Monte's Equipment. He can tell you everything you need to know about your N62 engine and will have the partas in stock. Some of the old model # designators don't matter anymore, as parts will fit both #'s. 312-225-2660 Bob |
