Went to see a CA High Crop last week - kind of rough around the edges. Fresh paint but not professional. Thomson conversion but not very original. Fenders with added spacer but some rust. Some cutting and welding. D10 distillate engine 10-6210 S with alternator. Can't read tractor s/n - painted over many times. Rear tires old and well worn but currently holding air. Car tires & rims on front. Hand clutch appears to be dismantled - no lever and you can see in. Snap coupler missing. In SW Louisiana - Asking $2000 - seemed high to me - what does group think - did I pass up a steal? Is it possible to post pictures on this board - if so how do i do it? best, Ed

Sounds like a lot for a CA that needs a lot of work but how many CA high crops are out there? If it's something you want in your collection, you might have to scrape up extra cash to get one???

I think that one was on here a few months back.

I was going to stop and look at it when I was travelling from Texas to Florida in late Feb.

But didn't  !!

Good question - anyone know how many there might have been. I have 1 already - not running right now but complete with discs and plow. Don't need 2 - but if they are close I have to go look - and picture looked great - just not that good when you got within 10 feet.
