Looks like an aftermarket 3-point, and somebody changed the fenders.

I think the flat top fender option was so rare that this one is the only one in existence!LOL Darrel

Almost looks like someone has been "adjusting" the tractor.  Putting on a different seat, fenders, and three point hitch.
I do not remember a fender option on the D-14. 
We were out of business in 1962 but I believe the fenders on this unit came later.

Also must be a supped-up engine, D14 had 31 HP engine. not 40.

I thought that was just the padded seat, that was an option on other D series tractors, like the D17.  When looking at the parts book, I see it wasn't.

A friend of mine has a D-17 IV that has a 185 rear end with the flat fenders. A real nice looking unit.

Those are 100 series fenders.  Padded seat was on option on other D series tractors.  Never seen one on a D14 before though.

That is a pretty sweet upgrade. I always preferred flat fenders to toolboxes as seats when I was a younger man.
