My

My Dad got this pull type or drag disc harrow, used, more than 50 years ago.  We pulled it with our B and then later with an 8N Ford.  The Ford came with a 3 point hitch disc harrow and eventually we removed the blades from this disc harrow and put them on the 3 point hitch one.

Recently, I pulled what was left of it out of the weeds, got some replacement blades from Agri-Supply and put it back together.  It works well.

This may have been manufactured by John Blue which was originally located in Laurinburg NC and then relocated to Huntsville AL.  John Blue is best known for chemical application equipment.  The original color was light blue.  The only markings on it are the boxings and BLUE is there in raised letters.

If anyone has any information on this and possibly some literature, I would appreciate hearing from you.

It looks like a Burch disk, the way the frame hooks to the bearings. Burch was blue color.
