Went hunting today and on the backside of an abandoned farm where I hunt is this rake.   Took some pictures of it with my camera phone.    I think it is a 77G.   Are these more rare then other rakes?   It has been sitting outside for quite some time.     I don't know who owns the farm so I am gonna have to do some investigating but I see they are doing some clean up around the old barn so I want to make sure I get ahold of someone before it makes a slow trip to China.   What is it worth in this condition?   Here are some pics.

If you are saving it from a farmstead cleanup and when I take its condition into account, I say $150.  I bought an older NH rake, excellent working condition, from a good home for $500.

Not a one, but our season goes through Sunday.   I left early from work and went out to one of the "honeyholes" I thought I had, only to find two other blinds setup on either side of where I normally hunted.   So I went somewhere else for the rest of the night but didn't see anything.   I have a few more spots I will go to, the wife is going out to one of them tomorrow morning.   I will hunt on another in the afternoon.   A bad day hunting in the woods is still better then a good day at work!!

Well, I don't know if I'd go too high for it.  Appears to need a bit of work to get operating.  I picked up a nice 77G for $500 six months or so ago, so I agree that is probably the going price for an operating one.  Then found a 77M a few months ago represented as "field ready" for $450.  So far, for new tires, 50 teeth, 11 clips, and still working on the field ready 77M I've got another $200 invested.  So, if you have to buy parts, it does add up pretty fast.  So, I probably wouldn't go any more than $50 - $100 for it.

The drive belt will set you back over $100 if you get it from AGCO.  These are the specs on the belt as I remember them "109" long, H/C cross section".  That is from memory, and probably 75% reliable. I got mine from Motion Industries by giving them the specs.    541718 is the part number for that belt.

Looks like the one we had as a kid so can not think that it is a '''rare''' one.

My neighbor has a real nice one of those in the shed. The only problem, he thinks it's fine with the muffler clamp keeping it in gear. I guess they derail the belt if they take it down the road any ways.
