I just spent some time reading through their web site. The one thing that you will notice is that there is a lack of independant third party research. In practice you are seed and foliar applying a reduced amount of nutrients. This is all well and good if you have good soil fertility to begin with. The amount of nutrients in a bushel of grain or forage is a given quantity. It doesn't come from the air, it comes from the soil and any additional amendments that the grower supplies.

 

From practical experience with growers that have used a product like this the initial results are good for a few years and then yields begin a decline when only this program is followed. Additional amendments are needed to maintain crop yields for the long term.

 

What you are getting is a premium product at a premium price. Whenever the cost of fertilizer gets high like it is now these products are dusted off and find new favor. When production costs get to be more in line with crop value they disappear only to be dusted off when economics get out of balance again.

 

There is very little sound science behind their claims and most of results are antecdotal. It's nice to see pictures of healthy growing crops, but I can show you a handful of seed catalogs with nice glossy photos of beautiful growing crops. The reality is that few of our fields will ever look like the ones in the pictures and when they do someone will be there to take pictures.
