Hooked a 3-14 #83 plow up to my one WD-45 and the traction booster doesnt seem to want to work, just burries the plow in the ground and wont change it, and she wont put it. pulls nice when the lever is in about the middle. Went through and adjusted all the linkages according to manual, and have the valve setup according to manual too. Any ideas? The Traction Booster gauge doesnt read either. Thanks, Carl

Be sure you have the spring that goes between the lower linkage and the hand clutch cover. This spring holds the "Slack" out of the linkage to keep the movements sensitive. Without it the system "Hunts" and pulls the plow in and out of the ground.

Set the plow depth with the hand crank on the plow with the lever all the way down. I set about 1" deeper than I intend to plow. Then move the hand lever up slowly until you get traction. You'll know when that happens.

Ok. Well its weird, because on my other WD-45 you put the lever all the way down and it pulls no problem and the traction booster lifts the plow accordingly. The other one you drop er in and she burries the plow and spins.

Sounds like neither one has the linkage set correctly. You should have to drop the lever all the way down and then lift it a little to set the Traction Booster. Don't know what to tell you, but I don't believe that either is set correct.

seems to me that having the traction booster lever in about the middle is good.
On my CA I drop the plows and return the lever to about the middle and it works fine.

Ok, that is weird. So the one I think has a problem is actually right. Haha. That's works.
Thanks, Carl
