we took the d-19 out to the farm yesterday (dad is in the drivers seat) to do a trial run and see if we needed to make any wheel spacing adjustments, and check plow function all is good. only issue we had is the passenger side coupler kept popping off when lowering plow.(besides plugging up with stalks numerous times) tractor performed fantastic. ground was very wet, and the plow points and shares were very rusted up. i was surprised how effortessly is pulled in 2nd high, and had plenty of power even in 3rd high. if everything goes right and weather permitting we will be out wed. or thursday this week to plow it under before we get rain for a month strait like last year.

the low clearance plows are prone to choking on un disked corn stubble espacially with todays thicker planting populations,

a quick trip over with a good disk will help solve some of the choking issues

you cant beat a high clearance plow for plowing stuff like that

yeah kw, our disc is under the knife getting all new bearings and ready for action or we would have run over it to break it up a little. we might see if we can borrow one from one of the neighbors.
