I just got the 6080 and the radio is junk and the radio in the 8050 has been on it's last leg for a couple years.  Does anyone know a good place to get just a regular radio that works good for these tractors.  I don't need a cd player, just a radio.  I like the triditional style with the volume knob but would like one with the digital preset buttons.

thanks,  Derek

We put one that says "Heavy Duty Sound" in our 7040 many years ago.  It is digital preset, with a volume knob and AM/FM1/FM2/weatherband.  This is the only weatherband radio we have and it's nice to have that feature.  It looks like Jensen is probably your best choice for a radio that will stand up to the dust and vibration of a tractor.

Found a NOS Sony digital with cassette on ebay, traditional style knobs. There are tons of radios on Ebay.

I have a Pioneer from Best Buy in my 6080. It takes a little bit to get it installed because the bracket must be adjusted from the one that was in there when it was new. This one is digital tune with a volume dial, AM, FM, CD, MP3, USB and a 4 year warrenty for under $100.00. Also remember to run a hot power wire to the radio memory when installing otherwise you will need to reprogram all of the presets everytime you cycle the key. I also put in new speakers at the same time (2) 4" pioneer purchased at the same time for around $40.00.

Not sure if they have for the Allis or not but try agradios.com. they had kits and adapters for others. At least I think that was the name of the website. I was looking for speakers for one of our combines and found about everything for ag equipment there.
