went this am to look at an 84- 3300 engine hours no sep meter.
the raddle chain pan is cracked behind the front about 3 inches back on both sides. what is thw fix for this- could a person order poly and cover the entire pan floor. the inside of the combine it still has paint in some places- the machine is in pretty nice shape.
second- it needs 2 new walkers or replacement stuff for the back 1 foot or so on each- can you buy this ready to weld in somewhere?

I think with proper thought anything is possible. Describe what happened to the straw walkers alittle more. Ryan

if the walkers aren't too bad they can be welded back. we've done it several times.

i think they all do that eventually- i would pull and weld or replace if i could find a decent set- i have to decide tonight if i am going to buy- the R52 is still a thought as well

Dad and i got an 82 L2 last year and for the money, we are thrilled. I know you've got an M2 (I think it's and M2) but the L's are so much cheaper than the rotaries. For the money I'd get another L2/3.
