Anyone have some part numbers for new seals on the loader cylinders for the WD loader. I have a set i would like to rebuild/repack. ------------- '40 WC puller,'50 WD puller,'50 M puller '65 770 Ollie *ALLIS EXPRESS contact* I can explain it to you, BUT I cannot understand it for you!! |

The Freeman cylinders have chevron packings. They can be tightened up a bit if there is still clearance between the gland and the top of the cylinder. Do not over tighten, they have to weep a bit of oil to lubricate the rod and the packing. The are available from several companies but you need the shaft diameter and the gland Inside Diameter to get the right ones. There should also be a bronze busing that probably needs replaced to help support the rod and keep it straight. It is in the bottom of the gland, below the packing. The number I have is: 72000650 for the WD9 loader. My notes say 4 per cylinder, but I'm not sure thats right. AaronSEIA

There would be 3 different pieces. 1 male adapter, 1 female adapter and the vee packing of which you will need at least 2. Baum Hydraulics may have the loader cylinder seals under remote cylinders on page X4 of their downloadable catalog. And may not. They probably have all the generic seals if you can figure them out from section G or X. Gerald J. |

That is the AC/ACGO numbner I was given a couple of years ago. I need to do mine, but haven't been into them to know what I need. If someone can get a set of generic seal numbers together as a "kit" that'd be great. AaronSEIA

Thanks. The tops will not turn in anymore, and they piss a big stream when you use it. They will not hold a load up as they will leak off. I could do that if I had the measurements of the gland ID and the rod diameter. I guess I can measure a rod on one of mine.
