Hey guys what are the value on the allis chalmers threshing machines?  Values on different models.  I have one I am thinking about selling and I cannot decide where to start on price.  It is all complete and not completely froze up at all. It looks nice as well.  I never have had the chance to try it and I never will get to it so I am going to sell it.  I need to see what size it is also.  I am sure this will make a difference on the price. Any suggestions would be great.  Thanks!

Ernie Nutch had a small one in his sale, I think it brought $400.00, I know he was asking $1,000.00 for it before the sale.

I'm thinking they were all 22" Thats all I have ever seen anyway. As for price the others have it right I think, mostly close to 1K but I know of a couple that brought more than that, one quite a bit more and it wasn't realy a jewel or anything, just happened to be two people who wanted it at that auction I guess?   I remember seeing Ernie's but dont remember a thing about the condition of it.

The 22 x 38 is the true AC model. The serial number for this model should be 36,675 to 38,173 built from 1932 - 1936. Allis did build some 22 x 36, 28 x 46, and 28 x 50 machines after the merger with Rumely in 1931 but these were made from existing inventory of Rumely parts.

Would be nice to have one someday, for a decent price, hopefully in the state of Michigan. I think old threshers are really cool looking, and its nice to see any of them at local tractor shows. Maybe someday.

seems like thresher prices are pretty consistent, most of the ones I've seen have been around 1000-1200 regardless of brand, restored ones are closer to 1800

Well I have one for sale.  I have $1500 into it I guess we will go with that for price.  I can always take an offer on it.  I will try to post some photos in the near future.  Thanks!

Andy does it have all or most of the belts? If it has the main drive belt and it is in good shape that would be a big factor to me. Our club has one of these threshers that is sitting outside and hasn't ran in years I'd like to try it but no belts so we are using a Case also have a Belle City with no belts.

Please get some pics up.  We might be very interested if it's in pretty decent shape.

Thanks,

Anthony
