Ive got one that been down in the shed for years..was here when we bought the place.
In decent shape really. Has anyone heard of them? It has a Id tag, looks like they were made in chicago. This one is 10'. wide. Heavy spoke wheels on rubber. Pulled it out today and everything seems to still work. Anyone used one? Value?

Don't know about value. Probably not many of them around now. I pulled one behind a B during the mid-fifties to mid-sixties, think it was a 8 footer. It did a great job with both seed and fertilizer. The pasture seeders (grain drills) and 3 point hitch hopper type spreaders have pretty much replaced them now.

Yep, Im thinkin itll spread lime/fertilizer on the food plots pretty well. Not sure about spreadin seed with it. Seen restored models goin for 1200 so im pretty sure its not worth much more than scrap, but Ill put her to work this spring! Got 14.3 acres goin into crp.

They are great for spreading fertilizer on strawberries. Or any other crop that you don't want to overlap and over fertilize an area. HTH Tracy Martin

I sold a really nice 12' last year for $350. Another seller had one on CL for $750 and I think he still has it. They are real common out here for some reason....
