I was wondering if there is any way to convert an old drag type disk to a snap coupler lift disk to pull behind a CA. Does any one have any pics of one? Or is this even possible? Thanks Josh.

It would be easy enough to put the eye and beam onto the old disc, but your lift arms  grab a rigid frame of the disc to raise it. Lot of old pull discs dont have much of a frame and are kind of floppy in the center. You would need a disc that had a rigid angle iron frame all around it.

Like them all, but love the "B"s.

The one AC drag type disk that I was around I would say "No way." It would have been a load on a CA anyway. If I remember right it was about 8' wide and pivoted in the middle, You had to set both the front and rear halfs to the disired cut angle. I don't know if all the drag type disk that Allis made was this way or not.

I don't think Josh is talking about using an Allis Drag Disk.

I dont think it would be to bad of a job to convert a new compact utility type three point disk to work. I'm thinking like a king cutter, or frontier brand 4-5 ft rig.
