Could someone take a picture and measure the transmission dipstick on their D14 for me. Mine just has a bung in it. The po had over filled it or the hydrualics are leaking inside not sure. I will probably have a hard time finding an original dipstick but with the measurment and picture I can fab one. Thanks John

I can measure the one on my D15, don't know how much difference there is between the two but it will get you somewhere.   The overall length of it is 9 3/8".   That is from the bottom of the dipstick to the top of it where the bottom of the dipstick mates to the top of the hole in the transmission.   The hatching for the fluid level goes up 1" on the dipstick.   I will load up some pics I just took and post them as soon as I get them up.

Thanks Chuck that will help a lot. At least I'll know how much oil to put back in. Norm did you mean that you have one at your shop for sale?

I had a issue with my D15 oil level in the transmission the first time I used it, after mounting the loader. The hyrdaulic pump was low in oil but the transmission was too full. I removed some fluid from the trans and put it into the pump reisivour and haven't had a problem since and I used the loader for 6 hours and the plow for 3 hours. Bob
