Huh?
I've never seen a WD that didn't have a WD decal on it.

Norm is correct, the WD did not have cowl decals.

Sometime in 1951 when the A-C hood decal changed from the long A and the long S to the short A and short S, the WD got the WD on the rad shell.

I know for a fact my Dad's 1953 WD had black hood letters with the small "A" and small "S" and "WD" on the sides of the radiator.

Ours had "WD" on the cowl. I don't remember the year it was. It was dated pre-snap coupler era, though. I keep thinking it was a '50 model.

We had a 1952 WD and it had the WD decal on the radiator, curved gear shift lever but no snap coupler. Also the shutter decal. If I look hard enough I may find the bill of sale and see if there is any serial number on it. Dad also bought a WD45 in Feb 1954.
