I'm looking to find the Governor Control Rod Rear (This hooks to the throttle control lever, bottom), and the Ball Clamp.

Mine is wore out. The rod I can probably fix but the ball clamp I can't

Also what is the purpose of that big spring? Mine is broke but I guess it puts tension on the linkage?

Charlie - McMasterCarr has the ball clamp way cheaper than AGCO:

Maybe I didn't see the right one on that page but what I have a clamp that goes on to the rod with a ball on top to fit the other link rod so that it can rotate freely.

This one looks similar to the one on my D-17.

I'm not sure what that big spring is for either.
Mine was also broken and I replaced it with a similar one
I happened to havr in "stock".
I guess the throttle works a little better with it than without it.

My parts book calls the spring a Compensating spring. I just put a new one on my D-17 and the only difference I see is that the throttle responds a little quicker. Without it you had to pull throttle down quite a bit before engine would speed up.

I ordered one of those ball clamps, thanks for the help. I will source a spring locally to see what it does.
