Over here they are W Speed Patrols built on a WC chassis and they made 3751 from 1940-1950. Nice to have in the collection.

The first 678 were built at the LaPorte plant 1940-1942, the rest were at the Spingfield plant from 1945-1950. None built in 1943 and 1944. Does yours have a serial # on the rearend or on a seperate tag on the front?

John, you may have something unique there ? As has been said already, AC did produce a W Speed Patrol which was based on the styled WC tractor. Judging by the first photo in this post, your machine could have a WF rear end ? It's definitely got a WF clutch pedal and foot plate. Was the rear end stamped with a WF serial number ?

The orignal broken rearend number is WF2962 and the tag on the side it has a number as well it will be the Tutt-Bruyant number hop this helps cheers john

Never heard of a WF patrol-- save all the pieces as you may have a one of a kind unit there , as said it has a WF clutch pedal and rear end.

The front axle appears that it may be narrower than the standard speed patrol as well. Interesting!
