Bought my neighbor's disc that has a round eye in place of the elongated eye.
Doesn't appear to be an Allis disc, no paint left either.
Tried to fit it into the bell but didn't go as it was too round.
It's about an 8 footer.
Who made this type of disc? Case, maybe?? Thanks for the info. Jim

Oh yeah, it appears to be a drag type disc as it doesn't have any lifting arms to go to the lift arms on my 45.

Jim - I have an 8 foot John Deere drag disc with a round eye.  It's meant to be used with a clevis for hook-up to the draw bar.  Does the hitch have a couple of rods running above it and a lever  you pull up with notches to change the pitch of the gangs?  That's what my JD has.  Mike

I had a 24 blade McCormack drag disc that had a round eye.
Don, from the pictures that Mike posted I thought it looked like that dang green disc pushed you into the mud hole, of course that was awhile ago & I could be wrong...Harvey

You know what Harvey, now that you mention it, I did see what looked like faded reddish orange paint on it in one spot right after he got it home for a yard ornnament.
It's not there now tho.

Mike, There are not any rods to shift the gangs to change the pitch.
There is a notched, half inch flat metal "bar" between the hitch angle irons that fasten to the round eye.
By pulling forward or pushing backward to disengage the notch from "rivet" that holds the two angle iron hitch tongues, lift the bar and slide the gangs back or forward to straighten them out.
If you'll post  pic, I can see how your setup is and maybe fashion one on mine. I'd really love to be able to take this somewhere to use besides just here at my place.
Had about 60 acres of hayfield "given" to me to take care of just to keep it mowed down and do with whatever I wanted to with the hay. Got the WD's, just need the square baler now and the rake and haybine. 7' sickle mower might be a little slow, albeit the WD45 is somewhat fuel efficient mowing with it.

Jim - here's a pic of the hitch on my JD disc.  You can see the adjustment linkage on top the drawbar.  You can also put a hydraulic cylinder up there too if you wanted.  It's a beat up disc but it still works.  And as Harvey points out, it works good for helping Don find the mudholes, lol!  Mike

Thanks Mike.
Mine is not even close to looking like this - frame wise.
Your's makes my frame look anemic.
Guess I had better take a pic or two and learn to post.
Busy weekend with camera work at church and possible rain all weekend long with the overcast sky.
We'll see how bright it is on Saturday to get a good pic.

BTW, what size of disc blade does your disc take?
I ordered 4 16 inchers today from Agri Supply.com  Thank You Dans 7080!
They were surprised that I heard about them from this forum as the lady that I talked to hadn't heard about this forum.
Told them to tune in here and let it be known here what they do!!

Sounds like an international 9b. Not a bad disk, I saved one from the the fence row on the neighbors place before the Cat got to it when they were building a pond.
