I believe what they're referring to is probably the gearbox that's installed in place of the Power Director... instead of high-low, what you really get it forward-reverse type shuttle shifting...

But I could be wrong.  I guarantee my stupidity, so accept it as a guess...

Dave likely has it right. Maybe they nicknamed the 'Big Stick' the 'Big Johnson'
