Just had my CA apart and did not measure the key. Thought it was 1/4" or 3/16" wide and approx 3/4" long. Sure hide well in the parts container when I was looking for it.

They go by the width of the slot. Just measure the slot it goes in and it will be in the hardware store drawers. I keep several of each size in my tool box. I think those art 1/4 inch but you better take a rule to the shaft.

PN 905123 Woodruff key        Funny, the book shows this part on the Gemmer unit but not on the Ross.  However, it comes with the wheel and the wheels are the same part number.   You can buy two or three assorted sizes for the price of gas to go check. LoL

There are several different sizes of the same width key. The deeper the keyseat is in the shaft, the longer the contact area on the wheel. One chart I looked at shows them from 1/4 by 3/4 to 1/4 by 2 3/4
