Any of you guys in pulling clubs raising the cutoff that usually 1957 or 1959 model years to include 60's tractors? I think its time to raise the cut off to 1969 model year.
I no one of the problems is the expense of having a pulling sled capable of stopping the much larger turboed tractors like the D21, or 1206/1256 IH. Maybe exclude the big ringers.
Personally I'd rather watch a XT190 vs. an 856IH, John Deere 4020, Oliver 1850, Case 930, MM G900, Ford 8000, Massey 1100 then the common GVI Minneapolis with a HD800 engine vs a John Deere 820/830 like we see today in the 8500 and up classes.
Also were the 190 XT and D19 AC's the only turboed tractors in the 60's with a under 10,000lb shipping weight?

We just raised our to from 1965 to 1970.  There are alot of tractors from that era in our area, and we are hoping to draw them in. Surprisingly, all of the pullers with the 2 cyl's and farmall M's and 460's welcomed the competition. We are also thining of adding a 12,500lb class
