There is a very helpful discussion of D17 paint schemes and decals going on.  How about the D10s?  I need similar information for the D10 I'm working on now.  It is ser no 4348 and has had a lot of field modifications during its life, including two different shades of organge.  What should it look like when I get around to painting and decals?

It should look great!!! Seriously, you have a 1961 model (with the 1459CI engine). It should be PO #2, back rims had cream wheel centers and galvanized outer rims (aluminum paint works), front rims were all cream, front grill was cream without the bars. The D10 emblem was located on the under tank panels. It would have had a cream colored steering wheel. It would look pretty much like Dave's D12 (except for the muffler)

Be sure to post a pictures when done... and during the work, if you can.

Thanks guys.  The D10 is split right now going after the transmission.  Pictures would be mostly pieces.

Haven't learned how to display photos here yet but this link shows my D-10 that I worked on about 3 winters ago.

Thanks for the picture.  I am some months away from being ready to paint.  Have it broken apart to get to the transmission.  The axle seals came this week, so I can start putting it back together sometime soon.
