See they won't have a engine oil dipstick I'm not short and have to use a step stool to reach the one on my 2018 truck Still doesn't seem like a good idea to me to eliminate it |

for 90% of the population that never check the oil level and dont know what a dip stick is anyway... having the little idiot light that says " add oil" or "change oil" is probably a good idea.. Personally i prefer the dip stick to really tell you what you got.... Elimination of the trans dip stick was the "test" ... apparently that worked... i dont like that either.... the problem is when you CHANGE oil, exactly how much do you put back in ? Crawling under the truck and pulling a plug on a HOT RUNNING trans is not my idea of a good time. ------------- Like them all, but love the "B"s. |

Bad idea… Just had to replace a temperature sender on one of my dad’s older John Deere’s, said it was about to overheat as soon as someone turned on the key. But maybe they got rid of the engine and put it to electric….   ------------- 1955 AC WD45 diesel with D262 repower, 1949 AC WD, 1963 A-C D17 series 3, several Allis garden tractors
