I installed a Delco 39MT unit on my Son-inlaw's HD5G and we couldn't be happier.  |

I used the older M42 I picked up from a trucking parts house . It seems now they sell a lot of starters on E-bay also Another one I took the original Delco starter to rebuilder , they gave me credit for core against and rebuilt unit Newer starter conversion needs a power supply to solonoid so a key switch or starter button is needed to complete solonoid pull in rather than rod for foot switch ------------- Life lesson: If you’re being chased by a lion, you’re on a horse, to the left of you is a giraffe and on the right is a unicorn, what do you do?
