We lost him 2 weeks ago. I have shared photos of "Grandpa" for years, thought I might pass that along. 92 years old, and a life in the tractor seat. What a man. My grandpa, we miss him and I couldn't help think of him last night when plowing ground.

Sorry for your loss Don. Losing a grandpa is hard, especially a close one. I lost mine 12 years ago and we were very close. I still miss him. Seems like everywhere I look around the farm I can hear him telling me something or teasing me about something

Sorry for your loss.
Sounds like you have a lot of good memories stored up.
As long as a person is remembered, they are never really gone.
Take Care,

I will keep you and your family in my prayers Don . So sorry to hear of this. I was lucky enough to know both my grandfathers. Miss them and their stories they would tell . I an so glad you were able to record some of your grandfather's stories and recollections. Cherish the memories and store those recordings safely. Oh how I wish I could have recorded some conversations with my grandparents. Some people curse modern technology but how I wish our ancestors could film ,photograph and save these memories like we can today.

Hang onto all those good memories. Do what you can to make more with future generations. I don't have much for grandpa memories, as both pasted before I was 7.

But did get to see my kids make lots of grandpa memories.

Sorry hear this, losing a grandparent is always difficult. I had both sets of grandparents all my years growing up, grandmother on my dad’s side was the first to pass away when I was senior in HS, dads father passed a little over a year after that. Mom’s parents were around for another 10, and 20 years later.

Thank you guys, it's cool to see how you also loved Grandpas stories and the memories he shared with us. Appreciate all of you!

My FIL made this for me, check this out! Has his years on the bottom of it.
