Any tips or advice on how to get the rim off? Never had to deal with one before, got a rusted out spot on my 7060, tire was loaded. Got the new rim but the local field service won’t mess with it. Thanks!

Loosen all the nuts first to the end of each bolt. Smack one or two clamps with a BIG hammer until they POP loose. Do NOT remove the nuts fully until things have popped.

Thanks! | More info please. Tire fluid drained / pumped from tube already? Tire still mounted? If so, dismount the tire while rim is still on tractor hub. Tire / tube has been dismounted? If so, then you may not need/want to dismount rim to Fix/repair it? If rusted area involves a rail, maybe just remove that rails clamps only to gain better access?? The solid mounted rim’s inner area offers metal fabricator a great template & work area where new metal can be sized, then hammered to correct contour lines. It’s a sturdy precise bending area(s) so new metal hammered out on its good area should fit right into its repair area? Just use a angle grinder equipped with a thin 1/6” abrasive wheel (4.5”) to cut out damaged area’s bad metal. Using that damaged metal piece as a temple to size a new flat 1/8” metal insert, shaping it over good rim contours, trim it, then weld it in. With tractors trans in neutral, rim can easily be rotated to a working / hammering area, then rotate back to repair area as much as needed. Just gotta have tractor up on solid wood cribbing for it. But tractor is usually already jacked up & cribbed to safety remove tire. Disconnect tractor batteries before welding on its own mounted rim.

I don’t think much of your tire store. Isn’t it their job to remover tires and wheels? Call someone else.
