I hope I'm not doing anything wrong here,but here goes.
First off I am a proud DAD...The 220 is up and running
and doing pretty good,We still have to get the weight distrubution
figured out,but all in good time.
There is a video of my daughter pulling on you tube.
It is her tractor btw. dad and her fiance did most the work.
Her first video is on you tube,Allis Chalmers 220 13,000lb 8mph farm stock.
Just looking for advice on anything about it.
I have a 210 that I have pulled for years so I am somewhat
familar with 220 ,any advice appreiciated on the 220.

Now it was not farm stock, but back in the 70's who pulled a modified 220 and he mopped up everybody, I think he was out of southern Indiana.

Congratulations Kevin210 on your daughter’s 220 pull. She is sitting on the edge of its seat! The 220 sounds great. Great pull !!

5th gear @ 3,000 RPM is pretty close to 9 mph actual tire speed. The engine had a lot left in it on that track, I think. One front weight moved to the rear may have added 20 more ft of pull distance ??

I think the guy from back in the 1970's was Al Arnold. His 220 was unstoppable.

Yes AC7060IL that is her,she placed 2nd there.They went to Philpot,Ky this weekend and had a good time there,she pulled against some cut tires and water injection in one class and her fiance did really good on his IH 1466.Don't know if she has posted those yet or not..They're having fun and that's all that matters.

I've made several kits over the decades for various HP levels of turbo diesels. I always had the trigger switch on the throttle linkage under the hood so it would turn on when you just got to full throttle. When your pull is over, cutting back on the throttle shuts it off. Waiting to go the last inch on the throttle until you're down the track 200 ft or so works best. Removing the air filter and spraying into the air stream headed for the turbo gives the windshield washer fluid time to turn to a fine mist. Often one could see fire out the exhaust like this 210 and when the switch was tripped, the fire immediately went away. It's really important to get the volume/amount correct or bad things can happen.

Has all the diesel shop could get out it,
which is what I told them.
