I have an Allis Chalmers lawn and garden tractor, model 917H with 42" mower deck and rear rototiller that I would like to sell. The exterior of the tractor is in very good condition. It was last used in 2015 so it will need engine work I'm sure. Best as I can tell, the engine is a Briggs & Stratton 16hp. Obviously with its age, there will be considerable work to get this up and running. Rear tires are good however front tires don't hold air for long, so new tires all around are probably in order. My father purchased this tractor new, likely around 1979. It has always been garaged, never left outside. I was going to restore it myself however I couldn't find anyone in my area who would work on it or help me work on it.
