Does a 3500 1968 D21 have a place to put a adapter to fit a coolant filter to?

Use the correct coolant and a water filter isn't needed. Yes. You can get one from a 7060 hung on there.

Red heavy duty diesel engine coolant is best. Drain and rinse out green. They don't play well together...red and green

As already said, use the newer H D Longlife coolant approved for Diesels; Cummins, Detroit, Cat, Navistar and forget the filter. (FYI, most are just a cake of slow release additive). Drain old coolant from engine, radiator, cab heater, flush thoroughly and refill with new.

As I inch closer to getting my tractor back together I do want to put the proper liquids back in. This heavy duty coolant from NAPA says in the description that it is pink? Just checking.

Since I'm going to NAPA anyway is there a particular name i look for as far as the hydraulic/transmission oil? This tractor has PTO and lift arms so I see 27 gallons. Hope to get a little break on price but probably not.
