Had a bearing go out and it trashed the hub out pretty good, cleaned it up but new bearings are sloppy in it. Anyone have a good used hub around? Agco wants $589 for one.

I might have a couple from a 1200, likely the same. Will look today.

Edit; Since I have developed the habit of posting and forgetting, put my shoes on and went for a walk. I do have one, missing the bearing cap but they aren't hard to find. Took a couple pictures, call/text me, 641-521-3575, Mike.

Can you peen the hub to get you going??  I have done that to hubs if not too badly worn! May help for a while.

Look into generic wagon hubs. AC wasn't one to design a specific part if something off the shelf would suit.

If it was fun to pull in LOW gear, I could have a John Deere.
Real pullers don't have speed limits.
If you can't make it GO... make it SHINY

Hey Mike thanks for checking - is it a 6 bolt hub?

No, mine are 4-bolt.

dNel45, try using a sharp center punch to divot the hub’s inner housing. Punch ever 1/2 inch inside the hub’s bearing housing to decrease its inner diameter, then press in new bearing races.

Yes exactly what I suggested. Also Permatex has a race retaining product that helps. I have used it. Will try to get a picture for you. Have some in shop.

Center punch and red loctite works pretty good.
