Old starter belt disintegrated on my B-110. Only thing left was a few threads. I have 3 questions: 1. I found a reference # of 3L380k for the belt size. Can anyone verify this? 2. What is the easiest way to get the belt back onto the engine pulley ? 3. has anyone successfully used something like a link belt ? thanks for any assist.

We might have some nos belts available if you’re interested. You have to take the two 3/8” bolts out of drive. You can slide bolts back just so spacers can slide out then slip belt in around flywheel.

Thanks for the reply. I'll be investigating some more this week. I'm hoping it's all accessible. Initial look seemed daunting with how little room is in there to work. If the size is correct, I'll likely just pick one up locally.

| Also take the side tin panels off to access drive shaft bolts. Definitely tight job. Keep track of the #28 washers. While there look at that fiber disk #27. If it’s cracked it can easily be replaced at this time. |

Thanks for the diagram. Mine also has the hydraulic lift which adds a little more. I am experimenting a little. I ordered a variable length belt and was able to confirm it is a 3L cross section and a 38 inch length that will work. This is the belt I ordered and I did install it and it will crank the engine.
