If that isn't a garbage AI-generated video then I don't know what is. There may be some facts in it, but I would be highly suspicious of the content. Definitely fact check it.

Interesting video. I question some of the facts, but can kind of sort it out base on things I already knew. We had a couple of the 9100 series tractors, they were good solid machines; crude compared to the 8000 series, but more rugged in their construction. However, they did not make good yard tractors. The problem in my opinion with Deutz, was they are like most Germans, can't tell them anything. If they had left the tractors orange, I think that would have gone a long ways toward acceptance. Also, I would have tried to mate the 8000 series cab to the White tractor. As far as to why Fendt uses MAN engines, a German company is only going to use German engines, everything else would be considered inferior.

I admit I didn't do a good job analyzing whether it was likely AI generated, but it didn't immediately pop out to me when I watched it.  If it IS AI FUD, then moderator, please delete this topic :(

I did note that it was excessively harsh.

Not knowing a whole lot of the AGCO history, I did learn a few more things. So AI or not, thanks for the link. Having some German in me, I can also relate to that stubborn trait ....

The 9100 series tractors had a lesser cab and no Power Shift transmission as compared to the 8000 series. Whatever else was said about  operational "noise" was total BS.

Actually…we had a 9170 and that tractor was a beast. It had a much better Fwd axle and the engine was a beast. We never had a cooling issue. It was green and our dealer repainted it orange to our delight. But there was not small or less than other makes on that tractor compared to other makes of their day. Wish I still had it around. It was very dependable and didn’t have all the electronic BS like the newer equipment has today. Oh yeah and sipped fuel. We pulled a 30’ Great Plains notill drill back in the day and that thing was an absolute tank. It would’ve brought the front wheels off the ground on a 8070. The 9170 pulled it around like a champ.

I would not give this paper a passing grade if handed to me.  About 65% correct.

There are quite a few of these YouTube videos popping up about various "eras" of equipment manufacturer history. They are fairly easy to spot by the entire channel being all of these type of videos, the "narrator" voice, as well as the random footage that doesn't make sense... Like the much older Deutz tractors being shown over and over as the narrator talks about how the green tractors were invading the US (in the 1980s). Random footage of guys meeting in boardrooms... etc. etc.

I would vote to leave this post up as a good reminder to everyone to be skeptical about what you see.
