Anyone remember the conversation where a viscous dampener on a GM 4-71 or 6-71 was the same as the 7080/8070 engine ?

5177763 is the Detroit number. I've been able to get a couple from Interstate-McBee, but a few weeks ago, I bought their last one. Someone else mentioned another company maybe Fluiddampr, and it seemed theirs was a little less $$. I'm an Interstate-McBee dealer, so I chose that route.

Vibratech makes them. One from a 4-71 or 6-71 detroit works. You can call them and they will help you find a dealer

Bought 2 from KLM. Read the instructions. Says no paint on mating surface or in bolt circle. Oh,got one last year from them for C15 Cat. Much more robust than OEM and cheaper too.
