just got a wc with sherman unit, been sitting a long time, one owner until last week, is the sherman desireable? Im seeing prices all over the place just want some guidance.  Thanks!

is it  direct and over  or direct and under  or is it both ?

put it in 4th gear, and if it runs about 9 mph you're in direct drive - shift Sherman again and if it flips you off the seat when you let off the clutch you have an overdrive. IF you let out on the clutch and you can read the letters on the tire - you have an under drive.

Heisler and Sherman were the only brands I was ever aware of. They are always direct drive and then a choice of under-drive or you could also get them over-drive. Two-speed choices, not three.
