Looking for the aluminum thermostat housing for a late CA.  It's different from the cast one, perhaps the aluminum one is aftermarket?  Thanks in advance!

The aluminum thermostat housing was used on the very late production CA tractor. These were highly susceptible to corrosion and often bolts broke off when taking them apart. You can replace it with a cast iron one, it just won't be the bypass type.

If it was fun to pull in LOW gear, I could have a John Deere.
Real pullers don't have speed limits.
If you can't make it GO... make it SHINY

Thanks Paul!  That's probably what will have to happen, unless a good one can be found, will at least get it going after a little surgery was performed, Smile.
