Offered him $400 and he took it.  Said it was used last summer, it was mounted behind a CA has a trailer wheel and a hydraulic cylinder for raising and lowering, was wondering if it was an 80R??

It would be faster to just post a pic or two. I have a couple of #3's I'd give someone a h$$l of a deal on.

.

I looked up photos and we must have had the 82R mower back in the mid/late 70s.

I had the job of master sharpener. Wore that grinding wheel down.

If it is a #3 it has different mounting systems for different tractor models. If you're going to mount it on a CA make sure you get the mounts.

Got some one who is going to try and post my pictures.  The CA it came off of was not a snap coupler, they turned the lifting arms down and a it holds the draw bar.  This mower attaches to those arms.  Mine is a snap coupler, I know I can make a bracket to mount it, but not sure what to do with the cylinders.

Anyone ever mounted a Number 3 on a CA with a snap coupler.

I didn't know there were 2 threads going on with this. Here is a pic of his mower. Yes it is a #3. I can try to find my #3 manual and scan a pic of the mounting hardware for a CA.
