How many model K crawlers would h@ve been proceed with a steering wheel?  Most K’s that I have seen have steering levers. Been setting a long time and has known clutch and steering clutch issues. Just wondering how unique it was and how serious to get about trying to purchase it. Thanks, Mike

By the book, (Swinford's) 1934 was the year that steering wheel was replaced by levers.  If one totals production, to that point, that makes 3,593 tractors, more or less, with steering wheels.  Remember, though both varieties were made, for a time, and I'll almost bet that it was still available until parts ran out...Wink

thank you, rather unusual but not super rare then.  Do you know if parts from a later K with levers would interchange for steering clutch parts?  Be a big project but I am tempted. Have quite a few M’s and big brother would be kinda fun to play with. Thanks

Levers were better, Can pull both levers back and then ease into which track you want... where as with the steering wheel system, it was left track release or right track... covers are inter-changeable... many were changed to levers.
