Here is a picture of Bill Sontag and I at what he say's would be his last show he would be going to with Woody because of not being able to get around real well anymore .This is why he ask me to bring Woody back to my place and put it in my new show room ,take care of and to continue to take Woody to show's  for him .Well Bill  told me saturday that they are going to give him a new knee on this coming tuesday.Let's just hope for the best ,maybe I will be able to get him to another show next year. Hopefuly when he can travel again I am planning on haveing my frist Open House for new Show room when we can get him in here.Will let you all know how he makes out after tuesday. Thanks Fred

Forgot to say Bill turned 87 years old  in July.

Thanks for the info on Bill. I will be praying for him. What is odd is my brother is going in to have his knee replaced,also on Tuesday. God Bless.

Mr Sontag; prayers for a good recovery.   Fred, Mr Sontag is 87 and completed Woody several years ago, he was in his 80's (or close to) when he completed Woody?  That is great. Thanks for sharing.  Herb

Good Luck Bill! Do your therapy and you WILL be Walking the shows again! Joint replacement surgery is a WONDERFUL thing! and worth all the effort you have to put into it!

Fred, Pass on all our good wishes and prayers and tell Bill that therapy might seem tough at first but it gets easier as you go and is well worth the effort.  Charlie

Fred, tell the young guy good luck, and a speedy recovery!  I sure will do all that I can, to take the trip for the "open house", to meet you, see "Woody", and meet that FINE GENTLEMAN in person!

P.S. not sure of the date, BUT I was around 40 years old, (about 9 years ago), when I was told the only thing to cure the knee, replace! They said 5 years MAX. on a replacement.  Still on the original I was born with! THANK GOD for the anti-stuff!  LOL
